Resting Place
These images were printed using an historic processes called kallitype. I painted light sensitive chemistry onto watercolor paper and then exposed it using UV light. This process is called contact printing because my negative has to lay flat on the paper to expose correctly. My images were taken on a digital camera and then converted into a negative that I could then print with.
This project is not finished yet. The other half I am waiting for spring to come so I can finish it. I created this project in honor of my uncle who recently passed away.
